Overview
The Insights page surfaces telemetry data issues detected automatically in your environment to help reduce observability costs and improve data quality. These issues are evaluated when the page is loaded, based on internal heuristics that detect high message volume or data volume over time.Insights Page
A timeframe selector at the top left allows switching between:- Last 24 hours
- Last 7 days
Currently evaulation is looking at log issues that generate more then 5% of total log volume for the respected timeframe
Insights table
Each row in the insights table represents a specific data issue, with the following fields:-
Status
Detected: Issue is active and requires attentionActioned: A processor was deployed to mitigate the issue
Actioned insights will be visible in the system until the issue is resolved. - Name – A brief summary of the issue
- Service – The emitting service or data source

Type – Classification (e.g.,
Third-party log,Error/Warn burst) -
Destination – The observability platform receiving this data (e.g.,
Datadog,Loki,Elastic, etc) - Pipeline – The telemetry pipeline that carried this data
- Impact – A sparkline graph indicating data volume over the selected timeframe
- Total Impact – Total amount of data (GiB) of messages associated with this issue, and the percentge from the total volume over the time period selected (24H or 7 days)
Archive Tab
The Insights page includes two tabs:- Current – Active issues that may require intervention
- Archived – Insights that have been deferred or dismissed
Insight Details Page
Clicking an insight name in the insights table opens the Insight Details Page, with detailed information and resolution options.Timeframe Selector

Click this to to see the actual log lines currently being sent that have this issue. This view should help get understand the excat log message that generates the issue.Archive
You may archive an insight if no action is desired immediately.Summary

Conditions
Displays the specific patterns, log content, or metadata attributes contributing to the issue.Usage Graph
A bar chart visualizing the issue’s behavior over time, with a toggle to switch between:- Volume over time
- Message count over time
Recommended Actions
This section offers automated suggestions to address the issue:- Filter – Drop noisy or unnecessary messages
- Aggregate – Reduce data granularity through summarization
- Clicking Preview opens a new tab in the pipeline editor
- A preconfigured processor is created for the selected resolution
- You may customize the processor before deployment
After saving a processor, the pipeline must be redeployed for the change to take effect.
Activity Log
Chronological log of all actions taken on this insight:- Action type
- User who performed the action
- Timestamp
